Build Your Savings with the GLCU Foundation   The GLCU Foundation is launching an Asset Building Matched Savings Program to help members of low to moderate income grow their savings. Through the program, members can save towards financial well-being goals with the opportunity to have those savings matched dollar for dollar up to $1,000.00 through May 31, 2026. As a non-profit organization committed to providing Lake County’s young people with the tools and resources to develop and build skills for life, YCC mentors and empowers young adults through education and training in life skills, career pathways, and environmental stewardship.   The GLCU Foundation for Financial Empowerment selected YCC as our Q2 partner because its mission closely aligns with ours. The $2,500 funds will help support continued financial literacy to the youth in our communities of Waukegan, North Chicago, and Zion.   Learn More » Congratulations Scholarship Recipients!   GLCU Foundation for Financial Empowerment is proud to award eight scholarships to members who are continuing their education. The Here to Stay Community Land Trust retains low- to moderate-income households across Chicago through affordable homeownership and communal ownership of the land.
