Bring outdated financial or confidential documents to either of our two shred events this month. We’ve partnered with Secure Document Solutions to have a shred truck on site so you can rest easy knowing your paperwork will be safely and securely destroyed.
GLCU’s shred events are open to the community, so neighbors, family, and friends are also invited. Attendees may bring up to two bags or boxes each. GLCU staff will be on hand with information on how to protect yourself from identity theft and fraud online.
Starting May 1, tellers at Shared Branch locations will begin to check and authenticate members with out-of-state IDs in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification. This new fraud prevention measure allows us to make certain it’s you trying to access your account, not an impostor.
